I have definitely made up for last month's low production this month. I was able to finish 11 quilts. Now don't go thinking I'm super quilting woman! 6 of them were baby quilts and I had started a lot of them last month. So it's almost like cheating! I have been trying to stay out of the kitchen and eat less, so that means purposely staying in the sewing room more.
I don't have another quilt to post yet, so here's a sneak peak of a 4 patch I'm almost done with:

39" x 49"
This quilt is made from the pattern Granny Square Patch in a baby size. I modified it slightly by adding an inner border. I chose pink and blue from the background fabric as my main colors.
This cute butterfly print has been in my stash way too long. Glad to finally have used it up. This is a great pattern to use those multi-colored prints in your stash. You only have to find 2 more prints to go with it to make it look good!

I had these squares left over from the first gingham quilt because the size needed to be changed to fit the flannel which wasn't very wide. These squares are cut 5". I also changed the binding to gray. It seems the gold is very popular right now, but I like the softer look of the gray.
I used a gray cross hatch on the back that I found in my stash. This quilt is available in my shop.

40 x 44I loved this pattern so much, I made another one in these fun butterfly prints. You can see the first one here. I had enough prints for this one, so I didn't rearrange or change anything but the size.
Same back and forth quilting in the inside sashing, but I did small loopy meandering on the blocks.
For the border, I did some e's and l's. I had trouble trying to quilt sideways, so I had to turn the quilt to finishe the borders.
You can see my hand wobbles at times, but I think the overall look is still wonderful and the texture is great!

I modified this pattern to make it smaller for a baby quilt. I've been meaning to use this pink and coral animal print for a while now. When I found this pattern I just new it would work. The animal print was used for 2 of the fabrics since I was short one and I might have rearranged a few pieces to make that work. I made a second one with brighter fabrics here.
I knew I wanted to custom quilt this one and it took a while to pick something. That is really not my strong suit! I went with some diagonal lines and some back and forth on the sashing. I love the texture it gives this quilt.

60 x 70
This quilt is made from a free pattern called Stars Over Scott. I made mine with a 5" HST and took off the borders so the quilt would be smaller. This is my favorite of the three star quilts I made with the purple and green floral prints. The first two can be found here and here.
Instead of using a solid for the background, I chose this white on white print. I like the subtle texture and old timey feel it gives to the quilt.
My goal was to use up all of the purple floral prints and was able to get rid of the last two on the back of this quilt. I reached my goal! All that is left is some scraps which will end up in the scrap bin.

60 x 60
This pattern is called Sparkle Plenty. I increased the square size to 5" to make the quilt bigger. I am pleased with how this quilt turned out and it was faster to put together than the first one because of the bigger squares. This is the second of the three star quilts using this fabric. You can find the first one here.
The goal of making the three purple and green quilts was to use up 5 floral prints that had both purple and green in them. This quilt finished off two of those.
One more to go! You can see it tomorrow!

48 x 60
This is a cute star quilt that I made using my green and purple floral prints. You can find the pattern here. I had a stack of floral prints that I had been wanting to use up because they don't really fit in with my stash. I chose three different star patterns to use this fabric. This is the first one.
Even though this was the first one quilted, it was the last one I made a back for because it was the smallest. I used up one of the purple prints on the back. The rest of them, I finished off on the other two quilts.
Come back tomorrow and friday to see the rest of these green and purple star quilts.

This is Myra's new pattern called Square Dance. Isn't she pretty? I used a fabric line from Moda called Mama Said Sew Vol II. I made the large lap size this time because it called for just the right number of fat quarters!

39 x 45.5Just a quick and easy baby quilt using some rainbow fabric I have had for a while. I couldn't decide what I wanted to do with it so I just put it this simple quilt.
Loops for the quilting and the leftover cloud fabric used up on the back.
I've been more productive since I got the tension fixed on my longarm so I hope to get some finishes done this month. Until the next one...

50 x 60
My Red, Almost White, and Blue Wave quilt is blowing in the wind! I think it's appropriate since it reminds me of a flag. The pattern I used was Myra's Jelly Roll Wave Quilt pattern.
Sticking with the flag theme, I quilted it with wavy lines about and inch and a half apart.
Finally got one without the wind blowing too much!
Since I used the cream thread, the quilting is really visible on the back.
