Scrap Snap Quilt

60 x 72

The Scrap Snap quilt pattern is one of my favorite scrappy quilt patterns. I think this is my fourth one so far. I love all the different fabrics that get put into it and you get to lay it out however you want and it still looks great. When I put the binding on, it was fun to go from color to color around the quilt.

This white/gray print needed a bit of color so I threw together a few more scraps for a strip down the back. Looks much more impressive in person. That white fabric is hard to capture.

I will have to make myself one of these someday. But today this one is for sale. Find it here in my shop.

Sparkly Rainbow HST Quilt

How about a little sparkle in your quilt? This is a design I came up with to use up all of those solids I have in my stash. Well not all of them, there are still several that didn't make it into this quilt. But I did manage to incorporate 65 different colors. Whew that was a lot! Do you have that many Kona Cottons in your stash or am I the only one?

I tried to remove some of them to get it down to 50, but taking some of them out changed the look of the quilt a bit. I suppose it could be done in the grand scheme of things, but I love all the colors in there so I didn't take any out.

A nice neutral gray and a black bind finished off this quilt.

I'd love to know if you keep that many solids on hand. Is this too many fabrics for a quilt pattern?
