Diamond Dance

44 x 44

This is a new pattern by Busy Hands Quilts called Diamond Dance. I found these cute fabrics in my stash just begging to be used so I made the baby size.  Myra's pattern comes in 7 sizes this time so there is a size for everybody.  I choose a dark purple for my pop of color to offset the purple flowered fabric that I used for the main print.

I had fun using the leftover pieces to make the back of the quilt. The blue is a different print than what I used on the front, but it's the same color. I added some white sashing to separate the prints.

Myra has a couple versions of her pattern on her blog today. Check them out here. Then stop by Myra's pattern shop. She has quite the collections of patterns. You can find Diamond Dance pattern here.

  4. Hi Shannon,
I thought I was seeing double - I actually had to double check to see if I was on your website of Myra's! Really nice quilt finish - I love, love, LOVE the purple (I know - she used navy!) for the outline of the blocks. What a fun pattern - just what I need is to be tempted with another pattern to add to my list of to-make-SOON. ~smile~ Roseanne
