We had a visitor...

Look carefully at the picture...and no we don't play ring around with cherry pits! We have finally caught our little friend who likes to carry these pits from the cabinet in the living room to my pj drawer in my bedroom. I kept finding the pits in my drawer. The first couple of times I thought the kids had put some in there and then I thought I missed some, but after 3 times I knew something was up!!! Then we found them in the game cabinet. What a trouble maker! All cleaned up and no more pits! And for those of you who don't understand yet...it was a tiny mouse that did that!

Happy Birthday Josh!!!

Every birthday has to have some balloons...

our favorite meal...

and a special plate!

Happy happy birthday, happy happy birthday, you're getting older now my teenager!!!

It's Nice Outside!

Josie sat on the porch while the kids played outsdie last night. It was so cool, we all enjoyed it!

Seems like everybody sat by Josie at some point!

Had some crushed ice to cool off!

Who's Afraid of Heights?

It's not Peter! He was so comfortable up on the top of the bookshelf, he didn't want to get down. You can see how nervous David is. He only did it because he didn't like Peter doing something he didn't. He got down right away! Luke wasn't so nervous but he was ready to get down.

Lindsay's nervous laugh...good thing Dad was very close by!

David asked to get back up there as he didn't want to lose to little Peter! He's so competitive, can't wait until he's older! Now don't go thinking we put our children up high and walk off. We don't, this was all highly surpervised!

Lindsay baked snickerdoodles today, and we made potato salad. All 4 boys were playing the water trough again. Luke read to Josh, and the girls read in their rooms. It was a quiet day. I even managed to get a little sewing done. It's nice to take a couple days off.

The Big Tub

What a face! Isn't he cute!

This is Oklaoma living for sure! Who really needs a pool when you have water troughs?

The goofy ones!

Been Busy???

Seems like it, but no not really. These are from the other night when we had a small storm come through. Cooled everything off and the kids went out to play for a while.

He's looking so old here...time is going by so fast.

You were boots with your shorts don't you?!

Our New Shirt!

This is my (Mom) first try at an iron on transfer! I got the stick figures off the internet. Edited them in Photoshop and colored them too. Then printed on the transfer paper and iron on the shirt I got real cheap! Now to get some for the rest of the kids! Josh said he wanted the names on the shirt and Lindsay said no...any thoughts on that?

Here's a close up of the shirt.
