43 x 54
Here is a small 2 fabric quilt. The pattern is called a disappearing 4 patch. I changed it a bit to maximize my red floral fabric. I cut my squares at 6.5 inches. After sewing the 4 patches together, I cut 1.5 inches from the center on all sides. Otherwise I followed the tutorial. You need to be careful when cutting so you can get all your seams to line up.
I like the swirls you quilted on this quilt. Did you use a solid white? I like the idea of using bigger blocks, especially if the fabric has large print on it. Thanks for sharing Shannon
ReplyDeleteI like what you did, this pattern always looks good I think! I have a baby 36" sq one in the process for a neonatal donation.
ReplyDeleteLove that red floral, Shannon and the swirls are great on the quilting!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! A disappearing 4-patch is definitely on my bucket list.
ReplyDeleteIt's a striking quilt when made with two colors. It could be a holiday quilt. I've never made a disappearing 4-patch.
