How about a little sparkle in your quilt? This is a design I came up with to use up all of those solids I have in my stash. Well not all of them, there are still several that didn't make it into this quilt. But I did manage to incorporate 65 different colors. Whew that was a lot! Do you have that many Kona Cottons in your stash or am I the only one?
I tried to remove some of them to get it down to 50, but taking some of them out changed the look of the quilt a bit. I suppose it could be done in the grand scheme of things, but I love all the colors in there so I didn't take any out.
I'd love to know if you keep that many solids on hand. Is this too many fabrics for a quilt pattern?
So glad to see you back quilting and blogging! That is a lot of solids but it all works so nicely together! I don't have tons of solids, but what I do have are fall colors and not sure what I was thinking of doing with all of them as they have been in the stash for years!
